Seismic Rehabilitation of ZanjanTelecom Building-2

In this project, MSD, as partner of Saze Energy co., was engaged to perform seismic rehabilitation of 5-storey Hidaj telecommunication office building in Zanjan which were seismically deficient. Systematic seismic rehabilitation was conducted to achieve the selected rehabilitation objective (enhanced rehabilitation objectives) for the building under investigation. Adding shear wall in two orthogonal directions, as the main seismic rehabilitation technique, were used in systematic rehabilitation of the existing building.

Seismic rehabilitation of the building under investigation in this project was conducted according to ASCE 41-06 and FEMA 356 and nonlinear static analysis (pushover) were used in the rehabilitation design.
