Seismic Ehabilitation of Saderat Bank Building

In this project, MSD was engaged to perform seismic rehabilitation and Reclamation of an old 2-storey masonry structure of the bank building in Tehran. Systematic seismic rehabilitation was conducted to achieve the selected rehabilitation objective (Basic safety objectives) for the building under investigation. As the main seismic rehabilitation technique adding shear wall and strengthening of the URM walls by shotcrete were used in rehabilitation of the existing building.

Seismic rehabilitation of the building under investigation in this project was conducted according to ASCE 41-06 and linear static analysis was used in the rehabilitation design.
